About Me

***

Hello!

My name is Anisa Farah Maharani, you can call me Anisa or Farah. I’m the first of three children. I was born in Kuala Lumpur, at 10th of June 2005, so I’m 15th years old. I go to 3 senior high school Bandung and I’m in second grade.

At school, my favorite subject is biology. Because, I love to learn something that relate to nature. Speaking of a hobby, reading books is one of my hobbies. I like to read any books, but I prefer novels and comic books. And also, I love to write and draw something.

By the way, have you decided about what do you wanna be in the future? I think, although we’re still in the high school, we should think about it from now, so that we’ll not confused about which way we want to choose in the future.

Since childhood, I have tried many things, including swimming, playing the piano, drawing, and the other. But, none of them that I persevere. Then, because of my interest in medicine, so I decided to become a doctor.

I've been dreaming of becoming a doctor since I was in kindergarten. I know to become a doctor isn’t that easy. Especially, considering the current condition which the whole world is facing COVID-19 pandemic, where the doctors are at the forefront. But still, it doesn’t leave me in doubt or even make me give up.

Actually, I don't know the reason why I want to become a doctor exactly. Sometimes, if someone asks me a similar question, I will answer "because I want to help people or because I want to be like my mother". Yes, my mom is a doctor, so are my grandma and my aunts. Maybe that's the reason how can I know about the field of medicine for the first time.

My dreams get stronger when I see my mother helps her friends, the patients, or her relatives who ask her about the symptoms of a disease, then provide a diagnosis and also prescribe the medicine. It impressed me and inspired me to do the same.

To become a doctor, people required to attend the training and education (studying in the field of Medicine) to get an academic title. So, I want to be on the faculty of medicine in Padjajaran University (UNPAD). Previously, I wanted to go to the faculty of medicine in Universitas Indonesia (UI), but my mother said that’s better if I go to UNPAD because it’s not as far as UI. Besides that, I also have thought to continue my studies abroad, at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in Cheras Malaysia, where I was born.

Furthermore, my way to achieve my dream is by studying diligently and praying constantly. Besides that, I was determined to change my bad habits, such as being careless, being late, panicking easily, and the other.
